Option to create your own custom tv show or movie

I am just wondering if can add a plus button to the top of the where you can click the plus button then a popup will appear and then you can add name of show or movie and then it will all be blank like normal then you can create your own custom movie or tv show since not all shows or movies exist on IMDB, TMDB or TVMaze. And maybe make the Episode tiles renameable so you can create the name or chagne name of scraped episodes as well and everything else will work as normal.

This way you can add homemovies or custom shows to movies and shows.

I think this is a pretty easy request since everything will be blank since your filling out all the info yourself and changing the episode titles to what you want excetra.

Hi,

this is a very reasonable request, I'd say. :)

Sadly, there are a few issues with the current software architecture of MediaElch:

• MediaElch assumes that a movie has a movie file (e.g. *.mov)
• MediaElch does not really support "partial reloads"

I'm currently going through the architecture and intend to restructure / redesign it to make it easier to fulfill such requests. But as it stands just now, it's not as easy as I'd wish.

I'm glad that the software is still used. You just have to be patient, as I don't look at issues too often.
Also, I will be on vacation for a few weeks starting mid of August.
