Problem
The OmniMIDI updater tries to update to non-existent version of the driver "version 14.999.999.1" and throws out an error message (see screenshots below), rendering the updater useless. This happens even when new real releases are published. Only workaround is to completely reinstall the driver for every update. My internet connection is stable. Steps to reproduce
Click flashing update button in lower right corner
Click "Yes" on dialog box, which claims that "version 14.999.999.1" is available
See error: "The configurator is unable to download the latest version. It might not be available yet, or you might not be connected to the internet."
Expected behavior
After clicking "Yes" on the dialog box, the driver should automatically restart and install the latest version of the driver.

this is not an issue.
omnimidi 14.999.999.1 is a pre-release version of omnimidi v15. if you want to use omnimidi 15, you can't download it directly from the configurator. you have to download omnimidi.dll, drop in the folder you want to use it in, and if it's already patched, rename winmm.dll to winmm.dll.bak. you also need to set up soundfonts but a template is provided on the download page
