Virtual Resection

Module in 3D Slicer that allows for virtual resection of 3D models. Following the installation tips and read the protocol carefully.

The Virtual Resection procotol was validated in a retrospective study on nine cases pediatric Wilms Tumor patients. The results were published and can be found by the following link: https://www.mdpi.com/1718-7729/29/2/66#stats_id. Moreover, the protocol was presented at the SIOP congres for Pediatric Oncology in Barcelona on 28 September 2022.

The example Slicer scene contains a kidney segmentation derived from template DICOM files from the 3D Slicer directionairy. These DICOM files contain an abdominal CT.
