Feature Request: Pauses

In a text file, use empty lines to give a natural pause between paragraphs and dialog, instead of everything sounding like one huge paragraph.
2 empty lines = paragraph (0.85 second pause)
1 empty line = dialog (0.5 second pause)

Example:
I am a cat. I wear a hat. I want
to chase a rat.
(empty line)
(empty line)
"Is your name Pat?" the rat said.
(empty line)
"You look pretty fat," said the cat.
