Currently, this plugin supports the doxygen config file format TAG_NAME = VALUE. However, the spec includes

  • Multi-line support by inserting a backslash () as the last non-whitespace character of a line
  • Comments with beginning a line with the hash character (#)
  • List concatenation with +=

If this is something you're interested in supporting, I can put together a PR?
