Please add some kind of indicator that a download has been started or queued. I downloaded the same thing 3 times because I thought the download button wasn't doing anything.
Some suggestions are:
A popup animation on the button to show your queue.
A status bar at the bottom of the screen that shows the current status. like "1/5 Downloads 185MB/6.5GB 37min to completion" with some kind of progress graph that shows current/recent download speeds. How much you downloaded per second each second. and or how much of your queue is donloaded similar to the 185MB/6.5GB.
Make the queue button show the number of items being downloaded/queued currently. This would not show if you aren't downloading anything and when you start downloading it would show the current number of items you are downloading or the number you have queued and would increase by 1 when you press the download button. This could change color to indicate you are downloading (green) or you are not downloading, but have items paused (blue), or that your queue is empty (the current color).
I can fill this out with a better spec if you're interested.
