Automator intermittently fails to start ECs from TS strings

Describe the bug
For my automator scripts I use Time Study strings that should start Eternity Challenges, for example I have defined the constant:
EC1x = 11,21,22,31,32,33,42,41,51,61,62,72,82,92,102,111,121,131,141,151,161,162,171|1!
and then use
STUDIES PURCHASE EC1x
to purchase, and start, Eternity Challenge 1

Most of the time this works well, but now and again I notice the automator only buying the Time Studies without starting the eternity challenge. If I copy the lines to a new script and run it from the top (as I can't figure out a way to start a script at a specified line), it usually runs without issues.
The same part of the script might also work fine the next reality.

To Reproduce
Unfortunately, I don't really have a good reproduction case other than running realities using the provided script/save. Running the script in a save that is further along could probably make reproduction easier as my realities are still slow/semi-manual.

Expected behavior
STUDIES PURCHASE EC1x
Where
EC1x = 11,21,22,31,32,33,42,41,51,61,62,72,82,92,102,111,121,131,141,151,161,162,171|1!
Should consistently purchase and start the EC specified in the TS string between realities. (Earlier parts of script makes sure I have TS and I have the perk that removes the other requirements from the EC)
Expected log message (copied from then it works):
Purchased all specified Time Studies, then unlocked and started running Eternity Challenge 1
