Question:

• Just write a new app in c instead of editing this one ? and make it a user level app ?! make it a plasmoid ?

Setting:

• Time in ms for gradual changes
• Custom brightness device location
• Disable/enable light sensor...
• The 4 profiles would be settable
• We could as well edited what application is listed in what category...

Modifications I:

• App name
• Remove:
  • Battery
  • Date/time (pipeline.py)
  • Display_pixel_mean
  • Whereami
  • Scroll support
  • Display_window_name

Modifications II:

• Add camera support to ambient light
• Add smooth transition
• Automatic capture of brightness changes can be used to switch an application from one category to an other instead of recording the changed brightness...
• The application would have just 4 default different profile:
  • Bright physical location - dark application
  • Bright physical location - bright application
  • Dark physical location - dark application
  • Dark physical location - bright application
