Certificates are stored in Key Vault Certificates under a name where the FQDN is reversed and all periods (.) are replaced with dashes (-).

Currently the following domains would both store their certificate in a Key Vault Certificate named com-foo-bar:

  • bar.foo.com
  • foo-bar.com

This may cause name collisions in some circumstances.
