Intro to the HLM Project
- Collaboration between HZB, ILL and ISIS, within the ISSE umbrella, with a potential view to commercialising it, has been expanded to include ESS as part of LENS
- HZB designed the hardware and software, ILL have helped refine and test it and improved on the firmware for the hardware – we are looking at the software

All four facilities have a desire to monitor Helium consumption:
- To identify losses and possible leaks
- For monitoring the levels to ensure that systems do not run dry
- To allow for accurate charging where the used Helium is charged back to the user
