Hi,

Let me know if you would like to coordinate with the AQP project, we may have invented a couple of wheels that you are more than welcome to use.

Specifically:

SoilProfileCollection S4 classes / methods
interfaces to NCSS soil databases
re-sampling methods via aqp::slice() and aqp::slab()
soil profile vizualization
