Getting 404 on the main page when using docker-compose-ssl.yml

Using the .env_sample file, but with the following changes:
hostname=dataverse.mydomain.com:8080
traefikhost=dataverse.mydomain.com:8080

and the docker-compose-ssl.yml from distros/

I get the message "404 page not found" on https://dataverse.mydomain.com/

Am I missing something?

Since your domain doesn't start with www. you have to modify:

dataverse-docker/docker-compose.yml

Line 205 in 8319b3d

- "traefik.http.routers.dataverse.rule=Host(`www.${traefikhost}`)"

and remove the www. before ${traefikhost}.
