I have added you to the development team of ihacru-2017-psy513, the repository we will use to share scripts and analytic environment with the class. Stay tuned for updates. For now,please notice Issues, this will be our communication platform. To read more about scientific collaboration with Github, please browse through this presentation. It has some examples and resources.
If you are new to R, please explore resources for a different course, uvic-2015-psy532, which gives a good introduction to the programming and statistical tools we will be using. Don't be discouraged if you are new to R: all skill levels will be given a room for success and growth. At minimum, you will learn how to read and organize R scripts.
Ashley, Ye, and Max, please send me your github usernames whenever you get a chance to complete our address book.
Please feel free to email or text me at [email protected] for any questions. If you have more of a technical questions, please consider creating an issue with a description of it, so that you can get help from your classmates. Rebecca, Jamie, Myles, Ryan, you are familiar with this system, please hep us get the ball rolling so that all of us have a nice set of Q/A and documentation in the end.
