we now have container images including AimsApplyTransform that are based on Ubuntu 22.04, I should probably prepare a Docker version so that you can finally upgrade from obsolete dependencies (Ubuntu 18.04, Python 3.6)... ?

Since things seems to be working so far, perhaps this can be of low priority?

I agree that this is not a high-priority issue, however from a security and maintainability standpoint, we will have do it at some point.

@JoelChavas I just added you as an assignee because I realized that the base Docker images are now your own username on Docker Hub, so we will need your contribution when we do the migration.
