It looks like there are no longer any active maintainers for this repo, so the project has largely died. If there is anybody listening, would it be possible add a few more active maintainers to the repo?

It seems like there is still a large crowd of people wanting to use this product, but there are a few bug fixes out there that need to be merged in to make this a feasible library to incorporate into a large project.

Looking through the open PRs @anvaka @zmdavis @GreatWizard might be interested.

@Phoenixmatrix Some of our other repos people have just been given admin rights and others we've directed to a fork. Do we have a preferred method of passing off projects?

Also access to NPM would need to be shared with the new maintainers so that current consumers of the library can continue to get the bug fixes.

@FranDias Ship Shape could potentially be interested in taking this over, and refactoring away from Tether, updating things, etc. like we have been doing for Shepherd.

@FranDias The whole event-stream debacle put some perspective on how we have to be careful with just passing things over, so we'll have to discuss what paths we'll want to take going forward for these projects.
