As things stand the Automated Ships skill is difficult to use at best. It seems like it would make sense for increased rep with the Remnants through the quest line to make AI-powered player fleets more possible. At least enough that you can pull off a couple of AI battleships or something at 100 rep plus whatever quest conditions.

Hi,
For what it's worth, I approve of the idea.
I'm already applying it manually in my campaign with the mod Adjustable Skill Thresholds, by increasing gradually the variable "automated_ships_op_threshold"
