This repository contains all of the user-created splashscreens for the RetroPie Project.

Making a Splash Screen

In order to maintain consistency these are the criteria for acceptance into the repository:

Filetypes:

Image Splashes must be .png filetype
Video Splashes must be .mp4 filetype

Dimensions:

Regular Dimensions: 1920x1080
4x3 Dimensions: 1440x1080

Formatting:

Names must be all lowercase
Spaces must be hyphens
