What's your opinion on providing localized versions of the plugins and have the post-install script find out the current locale and copy the right plugins accordingly?

That won't work so well should the user change locales after installation, but it's better than nothing...

The app is not localize at the moment. I think we can create subdirectories for each language (like Tipster):

config/settings/FilWip/Plugins/plugins_en/
config/settings/FilWip/Plugins/plugins_de/
config/settings/FilWip/Plugins/plugins_it/

The plugins files are very small and the translators community even smaller... ;-)

The difference compared to Tipster is that the user is free/encouraged to edit/create plugins in the FilWip settings directory. Copying all languages to it in the post-install script seems unnecessarily messy. Imagine some time we may have 20+ language subfolders in there...

Just copying the currently locale's plugins may be preferred. It also wouldn't require code changes... :)
