Dark themes identical to light

The dark variations are all identical to the light variations for me

(This image shows the pink variation but it's the same way for all of them)

This is on a fresh install of Pop OS, right after running
git clone https://github.com/Gnostiphage/adwaita-color-gen.git
cd adwaita-color-gen
chmod +x adwaita-color-gen
./adwaita-color-gen
I selected all (also tested just one at a time), yes, no, yes, yes. The script finished, I went to Gnome Tweaks, and I selected Adwaita-pink-dark for both. Am I doing something wrong, or might something be wrong with the script?
