v0.4.0 - The Big Split [MASSIVE UPDATE]
IMPORTANT: This is a massive update to GSBans which may have some issues if updating from a previous version of the plugin. If you are upgrading, please do a fresh installation if possible (you don't need to reset your database, though).
In version 0.4.0 of GSBans, we have worked incredibly hard to improve stability, ease of installation and usage, and bring in some new features that many of our customers have asked for. You will find the code base is significantly cleaner, with some features removed in favor of consistency and performance.
- Now supports versions 1.18.2 to 1.20.1
- MySQL and MariaDB are no longer required, with SQLite set as the default storage method
- GSBans can no longer be installed alongside LiteBans. A future import feature will allow migrating from other plugins to GSBans
- All punishment features in our GSAuth v0.8.2 plugin have been transferred to GSBans
- GSBans and GSAuth v0.9.0+ plugins communicate with each other much more nicely
- You can now enabled Discord integration to share punishments and un-punishments (unmute, unban, etc...) to a specific Discord channel
- You can now view a punishment list GUI in the game to review past activities of players and/or staff
- Communication between proxy and server software, when running in
single-server: false
, is greatly improved - When temporary punishments expire, staff with the related permission are alerted (Discord also receives a message if enabled)
