Frustration Over Contribution Errors and Lack of Points

I have been working continuously for the past 5-6 days, contributing to the project late into the night. However, after each contribution, I either encounter an error or my contributions are being canceled. As a result, I currently have zero points, despite the many contributions I’ve made.

I'm unsure about what to do or how to proceed, and I feel like I'm making mistakes along the way. I was very excited to participate, but now I'm feeling demotivated and hesitant to continue.

Additionally, the PAs (Project Admins) and mentors asked for issue numbers, merge conflict resolutions, and proof of work (like screenshots), but there were no responses.

• You made 4 PRs here, but again, no issues were raised or assigned. Without an assigned issue, the PRs can't be considered.

• You raised 3 PRs here, all of which were closed because you didn’t raise any issues beforehand or get them assigned. Also, there was no title or description in your PRs explaining what work you did.

Other Repositories (BuddyTrail, Gym_Website, Uttarakhand-Culture-NewUI, etc.):

• Similar patterns occurred—issues were not raised or assigned, PR descriptions were incomplete, and in some cases, the PRs faced technical errors (like deployment failures or dependency conflicts) that weren’t resolved.

Tips:

• Create an issue first – Always raise an issue before making any PR. Wait to be assigned by the Project Admin (PA) or mentor.
• Respond to feedback – Always reply to PAs or mentors when they ask for clarifications or provide feedback on your PR.
• Describe your PRs – Ensure each PR includes the issue number it fixes and has a clear title and description.
• Sync your fork before creating PRs to avoid conflicts, and ensure you don’t push unnecessary files like package.json or package.lock.json which why your recent PR had deployment errors

I didn't understand the instructions before, so I wasn't able to follow them, but why are you only considering that? Recently, I have followed all the instructions carefully. Even after doing everything right, points were still added against my name, and my full request wasn't accepted, nor anything else.

@Ek-ta-bharti I have explained everything. It's due to PAs has not merged youe recent PRs yet, and some asked you for making changes and some asked to resolve conflicts.

Try to raise more issues in active Projects and folllw the tips/instructions i gave above.
