Does UAM support e-mail notification plugins?

Using the plugin Better notifications for WP which sends email for different events like when posting a new post.
Have created several user groups in UAM and found out that when posting a new post with limited UAM access, an email is sent to all registered users even if only a few users has read access to the post.
Maybee this is only an issue for Better notifications for WP? Is there another email plugin which supports UAM?
