Hey, I'd like to see this app get streamlined a little more when it comes to checking off habits that can have multiple instances per day
Let's say we want a habit of exercise at least 2 times a day, but going above and beyond and doing it three times a day
Right now, the process in the app is to press + hold habit and manually set the counter
My suggestion: a single check of it should trigger an increment. So if I didn't do it yet today and I press it, it should now be at 1. If I press it again it should be at 2. Etc..
This method would also retain the current behavior of press and hold to explicitly set the number
A great example is how TickTick behaves, in both app and widget. I highly recommend using them for your inspiration in design here, they've done a few things quite well for habits.
The default "behavior in increment" just increases it by 1. Which is what people want for the most part, but it's great that it has additional options.
Then in the android ticktick habit widget, I just press "exercise" and I can do it a few times and it'll just be going above my goal. And it only requires 1 click from me which is the most important part. Trying to reduce friction especially for habit tracking.
