Audio Mode

How to use the system without a monitor:

  1. Connect audio output (headphones or speaker).
  2. Plug in the power source.
  3. Press 'Enter' (it's the way to activate the audio mode).
  4. You will hear a high pitched signal indicating the audio mode is on and ready.
  5. Type the number corresponding to the application you want to use: If the application does not start, press the corresponding number again. Consult the instructions for using each of the applications.

1. Web Radios (to listen to online radios)

2. Chat Server (to activate a vertical chat server).

3. Music Maker (to play with musical sounds).

4. Timer (to do time counts).

  1. After activating audio mode, click on '4' and you will hear an 'Fá' tone indicating the start of the timer.
  2. Enter in minutes the time you want to measure. For example. type '1' and press 'Enter' to measure 1 minute. You will hear sound clicks marking the passage of time and when the time is up you will hear a continuous tone.
  3. To stop the sound, restart or turn off the system.

5. Audio Player (to play audio files).

  1. After activating audio mode, click on '5' and you will hear an 'Mi' tone indicating the start of the audio player.
  2. Type part in the name of the file you want to listen to. For example, if you want to listen to the file "Toquinho - Aquarela.mp3", type 'Toquinho' and press 'Enter' so that the system searches and plays the first audio file with the word 'Toquinho' (which can be " Toquinho - O Caderno.mp3"). Note that if you type "Toquinho", but the file name is "toquinho" the system will not play the file.
  3. Wait for the file to be found. Depending on the number of files on the microSD (or SD) card, it may take a few minutes for the file to be found. After the file plays, the system will randomly search for another file to play in the same folder.
  4. To stop the sound, restart or turn off the system.
