I'm new to the USB HID Support in Nintendont. Was told to get my controller's VID (045C_09CC) and move the corresponding .ini to the root of the SD card. In HIDtest it does show up and registers input. But once I started Nintendont, the controller didn't want to connect, either in the menu or in game. I AM using a good cable with the data sync function. Controller is a genuine Sony

Use your PC to download it from the internet, then place it in /apps on
your SD card, make sure what you got is a .dol, and make a folder in there
called HIDtest. It should show up in Homebrew channel, you may have to
navigate until you find it
