There is increasing concern about Microsoft's relationship with GitHub amongst developers. This concern has escalated with Copilot's seeming theft of copyrighted code.

Please allow CloudApps to be hosted on alternatives, such as GitLab.

Hi @SydneyUni-Jim - thanks for this suggestion. Supporting other git-based code repositories may be something we can consider in the future if there is consensus in the community about it. In the meantime, we'll leave this issue open.
