What topic is affected?

Configuring Language Pack with EDB Postgres Advanced Server on Windows

Configuring Language Pack with PostgreSQL on Windows

What was the typo or mistake?

Both topics refer to the wrong version numbers for both the Language Pack (is: v4, is referenced as v2 in two instances), as well as for the languages installed.

This is a problem since the version numbers of both the Language Pack and the programming languages are contained in their filesystem paths that are used here.

  • Language Pack installs v4 and is refered to as v2

  • Python installs 3.11 and is refered to as 3.7

  • Perl installs 5.38 and is refered to as 5.26

  • (TCL installs 8.6 and is refered to as 8.6 so it is the only correct one, probably because of a comparatively slow development).

The set PYTHONPATH-lines contain wrong version numbers.

The code-blocks for the PATH-environment-variable contain wrong version numbers.

This is not a huge issue for somebody who kows what they are doing, but it looks sloppy publishing code with "copy"-buttons that contains errors like this...
