Why would you like the mod added?

This issue is mostly to make you guys aware of Tinkers' Things, which could potentially fit the pack, and give you ideas of the flexibility modpacks have in configuring Tinkers. In a recent update, Tinker's Construct got Json Things support so you can add custom tools without writing any Java code. Tinkers' Things is a mod that both provides examples of what you can do via Json Things and gave me a place to add interesting but non-essential tools without complicating the main mod. Specific features include a chisels, shovels, halberds, blowpipes, shortbows, hematite material, large repair kits, laminar armor, and a bag item called the silky sack.

Tinkers' Things does depend on Json Things, which has some functionality overlap with KubeJS as both mods allow adding custom items, blocks and alike; however, that overlap is not player facing. You also always have the option to add custom tools of your own design (something to consider for future expert packs potentially). I am looking into providing an option to add custom tools via KubeJS, but no promises of a time table (and Tinkers' Things will require Json Things regardless)
