@Lastique for some reason lubusb mentioned in your log in context like it fails to write file. Are you trying to save file on USB flash drive, or on external hdd connected by USB? If so, please first try to save file on your internal hard drive, to ensure it is not an issue with hdd connection problem. |
No, the storage is a SATA SSD. USB is not involved. I have a USB web camera, but it was not used at that time. In fact, I don't think Pidgin supports video calls, does it? |
Pidgin with a Skypeweb account crashes when a remote Skype user sends me a file. Pidgin opens a dialog to save the file, I select the target directory, Pidgin opens a window with download progress and after a few seconds crashes (before anything is received). The downloaded file has size of 0 after the crash.
Kubuntu 21.10, Pidgin 2.14.1, Skypeweb 1.7.0.
