With the P3 PR, the cloud liquid water is used for aqueous chemistry calculations, but the total cloud fraction is used for calculating in-cloud water content. It appears that there is no easy way to get liquid cloud fraction from both stratiform and convective clouds. P3 team will run tests to see the impacts of some of the cloud fraction choices and if necessary, we'll create a separate PR for a 'fix'.
