When clicking the “Remix It” button on a Thing, the license of the new thing does not honor the license of the original. This makes it very easy for anyone to intentionally or unknowingly ‘launder’ a Thing’s license from restrictive (e.g. non-commercial) to less restrictive (e.g. attribution).

Ideally, when making a remix, the licenses that can be selected should be restricted to the most restrictive license of any of the listed sources, or at least the website should display an obvious warning that all authors must give permission to use a less restrictive license.
