Describe the solution you'd like

It would be really handy to have an option to use the proximity sensor to disable AlwaysOn and turn off screen as well.

Additional context

It would be really nice to have an option to use the proximity sensor of the phone to disable AlwaysOn's display. Actually AlwaysOn should run further and keep the proximity sensor under observation, but the screen should be turned off.
This would be really helpful in certain situations, like:

  • charging from a battery pack and stowing it away in your backpack or pocket. It makes no sense to show the screen as no-one will see it.
  • charging in the car in hot sunny days when the extra power consumption by having the screen on (and the heat produced by running the CPU) can push further towards overheating the phone and thus prolonging charging.
  • extreme charging when every mAh should be pushed into the battery and not wasted to light up the screen.

A "Pocket Mode" is already implemented that will darken your dispay when appropriate. Entering standby mode is more difficult to implement but would definitely be worth it.
