This page, which documents how to create an application should also link to intents, since while on the same page, its often good to turn them on. Most people who are writing a bot want to be able to use the commands features, so turning on message intents here would be good practice.
At minimum, a link should exist, where they can be explained more in-depth.
So currently, the plan is that we introduce specific intents into articles (as notes), in which we're talking about features that require them. We also have a separate Intents page, that is being worked on.
From your suggestion, I understand now that we could actually link Gateway Intents itself in Creating Your Application, and list all intents in detail there. The same Gateway Intents page could also be linked in the other articles I mentioned, with a redirect to the paragraph on that specific intent.
I can add this issue as a task on Things TBD then, if you agree.
