I was able to fix the problem, but only by installing VirtualBox to it's default directory, even though I properly set the directory for the instance installed to D: |
So, you changed the directory where it is looking for VirtualBox but it doesn't work? |
It worked after I installed VB to the default directory and chose that directory on VM computers. When I attempted to use a custom directory, VB installed there and VMC set to find it there, it didn't work |
So changing it to another folder other than the default doesn't work? |
Yes |
Interesting. I will take note of that. In the mean time, could you possibly reproduce it and paste a link to a pastebin with the log file in it? |
In a bit, sure. |
Thanks! |
How did it go? |

It throws an error when after it attempts to start Virtualbox, i checked that the program it mentioned wasnt running. I consulted Google for a while but got nowhere. I'm running Windows 11 22H2, Ryzen 7 5700G, RTX 3060, 16 Gigs of ram and installing to custom directory. also the unfocus key is right ctrl, I have 8 gigs of ram allocated and 256 megs of vram allocated.
