When using the dedicated server mode, users frequently were disconnected and then reconnected to the game. The application seems to acknowledge them as the original players. (We had the option enabled to prevent new users from joining the game, but did not test whether or not that was working properly.)
When the user was disconnected and reconnected (automatically), their lives and and kills were reset. As a result, it rendered the dedicated server option unuseable.
Perhaps there is a way block the resetting of a user's data upon disconnect and reassociating it with the user upon reconnecting. (Note even if the user disconnected, leaving their stats in the game would be great as well.)
