Release 4.0

This release contains a package for KiCad's PCM that works with no 'PCM_' prefix. Refer to documentation 1.2 for details.

Full release of AKL 4.0. Download it via KiCad's Package and Content Manager - refer to documentation 1.2 (link) for installation instructions. This package is intended to work with the default 'PCM_' prefix - check your KiCad settings in Preferences -> Packages and Updates - Library nickname prefix should be 'PCM_'.
If you wish to download the library manually please download source instead of the com_github_alternate_kicad_library.zip package

Release 4.0-rc1

First release candidate for version 4 of the Alternate KiCad Library. For now only available on Github. Requires KiCad 8. Full documentation will be available once it's ready. See the readme file for a brief summary of changes.

2.0: Symbol Library Update

This update brings many new symbol libraries, some new footprint libraries, and new footprints to the existing footprint libraries. Refer to the pdf user manual for details. Check the readme file for detailed changelog.

Machine soldering fix

SMD libraries have been split.
Default variants have no silkscreen under the parts and are suitable for machine soldering.
'Handsoldering' Variants have component symbols printed under the parts to help during hand placement of the parts.
