I've created a post on gbatemp before realizing you requested the issue to be posted here.

Here is a copy and paste from my post, i apologize if some of the context is weird:

With the first version of infinity and the latest pro cfw, all my homebrew worked after installing it. (the installer used the 6.31 and 6.61 pbp).

followed the instructions got the new infinity working, but after infinity is running, no homebrew works. (at first i forgot to enable pro cfw). so i did that, but then when infinity 2+pro cfw is running at the same time, homebrew wouldnt run and would just crash the psp after freezing at the "psp loading splash screen". ISO and CSOs work just fine.

Even things like running the pro cfw "homebrew" a second time doesnt even launch it, it just crashes the psp and i have to turn it on. couldnt even run chronoswitch, had to disable pro cfw before i can run chrono switch to fresh install 6.61 again.

to ensure that it isnt related to 6.61 and pro cfw..i removed infinity 2 with chronoswitch and went back to stock 6.61, then ran pro cfw without infinity. and all the homebrew works.

so i've definitely isolated it down to infinity being the problem.

i am using a PSPGO with infinity 2.0.3

Do you have any plugins enabled?

I definitely did, I didn't remember but I had cwcheat configured to be on.

the GAME.txt was:
ef0:/seplugins/TempAR/tempar.prx 0
ef0:/seplugins/CWCHEAT/cwcheat.prx 1

and the POPS.txt was
ms0:/seplugins/TempAR/tempar_lite.prx 0

This was just old stuff brought over from several years ago, I'm seeing that the pops one wasn't even configured correctly. but id assume the 0 means its off anyways.

With the game.txt and pops.txt deleted, I do not get that crash anymore.

Thank you @DaveeFTW !

I mean, I'm sure this doesn't fix the issue since it worked with the old infinity, but I'm satisfied with disabling cwcheat as a workaround. It's possible I'm not even using the latest cwcheat too. (my files are from 2010, and that's probably just the day I put the files on the card).
