I tried to play with:

  • bluetooth keyboard on android
  • bluetooth keyboard on fire TV stick 4k
  • remote of fire TV stick 4k (left analog stick + menu and return button)
    and all did not work.

It’s possible that this is an issue of godot.
This is slightly related to #4

Hi Basxto.

I don't really know but maybe these issues are solved in godot 3.0 / 3.1 and the way to continue is to migrate all the project. Months ago I received a mail claiming there were input problems also on nvidia shield, but don't know what a I need to fix. Would you agree to test a small input prototipe made with a recent godot version on your devices?

I can do that.
But you can also test it yourself, there is an app for sending keyboard inputs to an android phone: https://f-droid.org/en/packages/com.volosyukivan/
Arrow keys of keyboards behave like left analog stick, if I understand it correctly.
Since nvidia shield is also android based, it’s likely the same.
