Due to #985, DLP has realized that there is an opportunity to centralize some of the backend build checks into separate jobs that live under backend.yml file.

Once the linked PR (#971) is merged in, we should remove the following yml files as they're redundant:

  • black.yml
  • python-static-checker.yml
  • python-package-poetry.yml

update: #971 merged in. this task can be tackled
