So when I try to start a dungeon my items disappear when I enter the dungeon does anyone have a solution for that?

On what keepInventory settings?

All newcomers to DungeonsXL have trouble with this. So much so that others are also tired of explaining.
As far as I can see, the settings intended to keep items when joining and leaving the dungeon should be true by default. Also, when initializing a new dungeon, it should come with a config file full of options and descriptions.

I don't see why one assumption is better than the other. The instantiation concept with levels that are prepared in a static, set way works well with pre-determined classes, not so much if you have to take any item or potion into account users could take into them theoretically. keepInv rules were added on user demand after the plugin was published.

Of course, I'm aware of the many users who come and ask this question, but those who don't figure the plugin out to the point where they know how to change one basic game rule would soon come to ask the next question anyway.

Also, when initializing a new dungeon, it should come with a config file full of options and descriptions.

I'm thinking about it, but it doesn't really go well with rule overriding and subsidiary rule inheritance from other sources, such as main config default game rules, MFDs, and possibly templates in the future.
