Not sure this falls under the purview of DFHack, but I figured I'd request it anyway:
I suck at judging dimensions, and a tool indicating how large an area is being marked would be super useful. Both for mining designations and measuring out builds. Let's say I want to build in the exact middle of a waterfall, but I don't want to count how wide the waterfall is: https://i.imgur.com/dxTKxMf.png
The Dimension indicator (red text on screenshot) would tell me the dimensions of the marked dig area. That way, I know the waterfall is 50 tiles wide, and the center is at 25.
