I am trying to investigate very slow behavior on my system when arrowing up and down in a message in Outlook 365 on Windows 10 with NVDA 2022.4 beta 2 and earlier. My version of Outlook is: Program: OUTLOOK.EXE, Microsoft Outlook 16.0.15629.20208
When I deactivate the OutlookExtended add-on, the reaction of the arrow keys and therefore the reading is faster.
My preliminary notes follow:
Actual behavior:
Reading is slow when moving the arrow keys up and down. Cursor moves slower than in other messages.
Expected behavior:
Right after opening the message and pressing Down Arrow, the cursor should move immediately and we should get immediate speech feedback.
As I stated in previous messages, I am extremely grateful for your work on this add-on. It really adds a lot of efficiency to my use of Outlook. I therefore hope you are still interested in developing it and let me know if you need further information regarding the issue mentioned above.
I am attaching the message that gives the described behavior.
Best regards
Daniel
