Is this project abandoned?

I see a few issues open regarding deprecations etc that have been in place for a long time, with no response. Additionally, there are 0 closed issues.

I wanted to double check whether the author for this repository has abandoned this extension and won't be maintaining it anymore. I'd like to be able to leverage it but I don't want to use something that is not going to be supported at all.
