Observed on: Official vanilla server

This is patently absurd. Writing bans to the database is near instant, but reading that information back is so taxing for the server that it causes a serverwide freeze? Something is wrong here, I suspect database bloat is only part of the problem (and already has an open issue re: #11).

It may be worth running a profiler.

This must be a database issue, I haven't touched it since tsu3 so idk where to begin with it
