react changing state of component when it has unmounted #439

Describe the bug
react seems to think that it is changing the state of a component that it has already unmounted
not sure if i as the user of the library should be handling this or how it should be handled
perhaps instead i should have a provider on a higher level? i guess then i run into the issue of not being able to access the ref

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. create a toast message,
  2. unmount the component before it the toast message comes up

  • Version 79.0.3945.117

Warning: Can't perform a React state update on an unmounted component. This is a no-op, but it indicates a memory leak in your application. To fix, cancel all subscriptions and asynchronous tasks in the componentWillUnmount method.
