Please post here if you have issues with thinlinc or RCC!

Hi there, thanks for opening the thread! I came across the RCC issue yesterday while setting up for my another course this quarter. I did not realize I need a RCC account until this morning, and just submitted my general account application (with PI designated for that course) today. So right now I am wondering if I need to submit another application for this course with another PI or just wait for my current submission to be approved. Besides, after I get the account, is there anything else I need to set up in advance before other follow-up operations with Thinlinc? Thanks!

So I've asked for permission to add the entire class to RCC and they said they would do it, let's wait until tomorrow and see how it is. If not I'll mail them again asking what to do next!

I've been told that you should all have access by now, let me know if there are still any issues!

Hi there, when I tried to enter my username and password in the thinlink site, I was told "Authentication failure. Please check your username and password." However, I am pretty sure that I entered the correct CNetID and password. I also tried the command ssh [email protected] on my terminal and it turned out that I was asked for a YubiKey, which I totally have no idea what it is. How can I solve these problems? Thanks.

Strange, @WMhYang . Could you please e-mail me this problem? I will then cc you and get you in touch with folks at RCC and we will solve the problem!
