DESCRIBE THE BUG:
Template in Final Cut Pro appears differently than in the Motion canvas.
Opacity changes are ignored (known issue), position of elements are offset.
TO REPRODUCE:
Besides the known issues with the Opacity parameter issue, no idea what in the template is causing the position offset.
EXPECTED BEHAVIOUR:
What you see in Motion, should be what you see in FCP.
SCREENSHOTS: offset appearance in FCP correct position in Motion
SPECS:
MacBook Pro / M1 Max / 64GB
macOS Ventura 13.5
Final Cut Pro 10.6.8

appears that the Strobe filter is part of the cause. depending how i group layers and apply the Strobe filter, the position results in FCP change during playback when render settings are something other than "Better Quality".
there are still issues with the appearance of Motion elements in the FCP viewer, in both Better Quality & Better Performance.
in the attached images, look at the variances based on playback, paused or view quality changes.
