Do you have any references / resources for this? I'm not sure if I need one.

There are no cookies on the site. No tracking scripts. IP address data in the logs is salted / hashed.

AFAIK as long as you record the IP in any way or form (that means... ANY webserver ever created I guess) you need to display an GDPR consent.
It hasn't been tested and truely challanged, and there are many conflicting piece of information out there, the quickest and relevant thing I found is here: https://blog.scrapinghub.com/web-scraping-gdpr-compliance-guide or https://www.anphira.com/seo-marketing/gdpr-regulation-website-owners/ - nothing concrete in there. Also, I assume 4% of your global revenue incase of a 4th strike on a website not making any money is still 0€ - no idea if we should push anything there.
