WellMe features two principal sections that comprise the bulk of the application's content: Learn and Practice. The Learn section primarily emphasizes literary material designed to aid users in cultivating resilience over time, whereas the Practice section predominantly offers video content. Our findings, corroborated by anecdotal evidence, indicate a preference among our users for video-based resources over written materials. However, we are cognizant of the necessity to diversify content offerings within the Learn section of WellMe. Consequently, we are actively exploring alternative means of user engagement beyond video content. We are receptive to incorporating additional user engagement materials within the Practice section to enhance the overall user experience.
Key design-research questions
Test the content in the field visit (locations given by Dimgai where WellMe is implemented). Also, use these field visits to collect relevant data of the target audience of WellMe through both quantitative and qualitative means.
Based on the data and analysis, create fictional representations of your target users, known as personas. Each persona should be a detailed description of a typical user, including their background, goals, behaviors, and preferences.
Current State
WellMe has been tailored for frontline workers, who serve as the cornerstone of development efforts across all low- and middle-income countries (LMICs). As we endeavor to enrich the user experience of the application and craft compelling content for this audience, it is imperative for us to comprehend the digital personas and preferences of our users, the frontline workers, for a digital platform.
Desired State
10-15 new multimedia finalized for the WellMe application created as per Dimagi branding guidelines
Test the multimedia with the WellMe users (new and old)
Create a Digital Persona of the WellMe users (present and future users)
Goals & Mid-Point Milestone
Increase user engagement of the WellMe application through creating multimedia for the existing content and know WellMe users better.
Acceptance Criteria
Final 10-15 multimedia collaterals
Digital Persona of the WellMe users
A report summarizing key findings and recommendations
After thoroughly reviewing the project details, I am eager to contribute to this wonderful opportunity and my skills are HTML, CSS (intermediate), UI-UX(basic), and product designing(basic). I am part of other Open-source programs as well I hope my experience can be beneficial here. I have gone through the project and I think my contribution can bring better usability, better User Engagement (accessible, visually appealing with user-centered design) Interactive elements to make learning and practicing more fun.
