Here is an evolving list of global simulations (atmos + land, with topography) we should stabilize and maintain. The simulations should be run for at least a year in the longrun.
with diagnostic EDMF and with 1M microphysics: not added to the longrun
All the numerics parameters (hyperdiffusion, sponge, topography smoothing etc.) should use the default values. If these parameters need to be changed for stabilizing one simulation, they should be changed and tested for all simulations.
Note that there are other simulations that could be useful for debugging, e.g. atmos + land without topography, and it is ok to add them to the longrun, but this list should be our end goal.
